Sanford C. Bernstein is an agency brokerage that manages some $69 billion for private clients. It is a unit of AllianceBernstein L.P. It is headquartered in New York City and has offices throughout the U.S. and in London.
On April 20, 2009, Bernstein will launch trading capabilities in three countries in Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland, with algorithmic strategies tailored for these markets also available.[1]
