Stephane Rio is the CEO of Swapstream, a wholly owned subsidiary of the CME Group based in London. He previously was with Commerzbank in Frankfurt and London, where he served as head of interest rate swap trading.[1] Rio replaced former CEO Marcus Grubb, who departed this summer citing "personal reasons".[2]

Education[edit]
Rio graduated from Ecole Polytechnique and also studied finance and economics at the Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de l'Administration Economique. He also holds a DEA on stochastics models from the University Paris Jussieu.[4]
