Steve Hamilton is an exchange executive and derivatives market professional who is the global head of financial derivatives at ICE Futures Europe. He was previously the chief operating officer at CurveGlobal, an interest rate derivatives exchange launched by the London Stock Exchange, CBOE Holdings and seven big banks in 2016.[1]

Background[edit]

Hamilton began his career in derivatives in 2002 as a market analyst with LIFFE. His next stop was with British regulator FSA, where he worked in the market infrastructure department before departing for DRW in 2008. He joined LSE as a consultant in 2016 to help get CurveGlobal off the ground.[2][3]

Hamilton participated in the MarketsWiki Education World of Opportunity series in London in October of 2016 at the Woolen Exchange.
