Stuart A. Unger
Stu Unger is a futures industry professional, registered floor broker and head of business development for The Price Futures Group, Inc. in Chicago. He is a long-time member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and is a member of the National Futures Association (NFA) as a Registered Floor Broker.[1] Background[edit]Unger's career began at the CME as a floor messenger, or runner. He later became a member in 1974 of the MidAmerica Commodity Exchange, which was then an independent exchange offering smaller sized futures contracts. After two years at the MidAm, as it was called for short, Unger moved back to the CME and became a member of their IOM division. He later moved to the IMM division. Unger has served on a number or exchange committees, including serving as the LIBOR Pit Chairman. Additionally, he served on the floor broker committee, probably cause committee, grievance committee, floor practice committee, arbitration committee, new Ag product committee and others.
