Sung Hee Hong is executive director, head of Korea at the CME Group. He was appointed to the position on June 24, 2012. At CME, Hong is responsible for expanding the firm's presence in Korea by developing growth opportunities and customer relationships in Korea. [1]

Prior to his position at the CME, Hong worked 15 years in the industry under the Korea Stock Exchange (KSE) and the Korea Exchange (KRX).

Hong received a master's in Industrial Engineering from Seoul National University in 1981 and a PhD in Finance from the University of Houston.
