Terrence Martell is the director of the Weissman Center for International Business at Baruch College/CUNY and since 2003 has been the Saxe Distinguished Professor of Finance. He is a member of the board of directors of Intercontinental Exchange and a member of the board's Audit Committee. Martell previously was a board member of the New York Board of Trade before ICE's acquistion of NYBOT.
Mr. Martell served as a public director of NYBOT and a member of NYBOT's Executive Committee and Audit Committee from 2001. From 1992 to 2004, Mr. Martell served as the deputy department chair of the Baruch College Faculty Senate. His particular area of expertise is international commodity markets. Prior to joining Baruch College, Mr. Martell was senior vice president of the Commodity Exchange, Inc. Mr. Martell is currently vice president and secretary of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce  and a member of the Reuters/Jefferies CRB Index Oversight Committee.
Martell earned a B.A in Economics from Iona College and a Doctor of Philosphy in finance from Pennsylvania State Univeristy.
