Thomas Busby is the CEO of DTI. He is a veteran market participant and has been day trading the S&P 500 futures since its inception in 1982, as well as actively trading the E-minis since 1996 and the DAX since 2001.[1]
Background[edit]
After having success early in his career, Busby lost almost everything in the 1987 stock market crash. Following that experience, he developed a short-term trading method that is the basis of the DTI curriculum.[2]
Busby established DTI in 1996 in Mobile, Alabama. DTI offers education and support to novice and skilled traders in all asset classes.[3]
He has also spent time in the Air Force.[4]
