Shirley is the head of cleared derivatives with FIS, based in New York. He took on this responsibility in April 2022. Background Before FIS, Shirley spent over 16 years with Goldman Sachs, most recently serving as co-head of product development, global futures and prime clearing. In this capacity, he was responsible for setting global product strategy, managing technology investment and overseeing key strategic initiatives. From 2019 to 2022, Shirley has been a member of FIA's Market Technology Board, and from 2021 to 2022, he co-chaired FIA Tech's Product Advisory Committee. On Monday November 14, 2022, he is scheduled to serve as a judge for the Innovators Pitches Session at the 2022 FIA Futures and Options Expo in Chicago. Education Shirley earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Rutgers University.
