Tracey Vallarta Jordal is an executive vice president and head of EMEA Operations and Trade Support with Pacific Investment Management Co. (PIMCO). She oversees PIMCO's EMEA operations and portfolio management trade support functions with respect to allocations and settlements, cash and collateral, derivative confirmations, claims, corporate actions, pricing and client servicing.

She also has global oversight of PIMCO's counterparty management and regulatory transaction reporting functions. [1]

Jordal currently serves as head of Europe for Women in Financial Markets, formerly Women in Derivatives.[2]

Background[edit]

Previously at PIMCO, Jordal was deputy general counsel in the Legal Department, with global responsibility for counterparty-related issues. From 2002 until 2017, she served as executive vice president, senior counsel and was a key participant in market industry regulatory advocacy efforts with respect to derivatives and counterparty risk regulations.

Before joining PIMCO in 2002, Jordal was a member of the legal department at Deutsche Bank, working on derivative-related matters for the corporate investment bank and asset management divisions. [3]

Education[edit]

Jordal received a bachelor's degree in political science and government from Connecticut College. She holds a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and is a graduate of the Executive Education: Accelerated Nanagement program at the Yale School of Management.[4]
