[1] Jordal currently serves as head of Europe for Women in Financial Markets, formerly Women in Derivatives.[2] Background[edit]Previously at PIMCO, Jordal was deputy general counsel in the Legal Department, with global responsibility for counterparty-related issues. From 2002 until 2017, she served as executive vice president, senior counsel and was a key participant in market industry regulatory advocacy efforts with respect to derivatives and counterparty risk regulations. Before joining PIMCO in 2002, Jordal was a member of the legal department at Deutsche Bank, working on derivative-related matters for the corporate investment bank and asset management divisions.
