TradeLink Holdings LLC is a diversified U.S.-based financial services group combining proprietary trading, asset management and software services. It is one of the original options trading firms on the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE). The company actively trades twenty four hours a day in global markets.

Headquartered in Chicago, TradeLink Holdings LLC includes a number of closely related entities, including TradeLink LLC, TradeLink Worldwide Ltd., TradeLink Securities LLC and DigiLog Capital LLC.Tradelink Equity Advisors provides consulting services to companies seeking access to U.S. and other financial markets.[1]

TradeLink is registered as a futures commission merchant (FCM) with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and, along with TradeLink Securities LLC, as a broker dealer with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). TradeLink is registered with the CFTC as a CPO and CTA and is a member of the National Futures Association (NFA).

History and Structure[edit]

TradeLink started trading in 1979, and formed its DigiLog Capital LLC asset management unit in 1995, which allowed outside investors to participate alongside the firm's principals. Its first fund offered was the DigiLog Full Portfolio. As of Aug. 1, 2007, DigiLog had $744 million in assets under management. TradeLink carried out the first trade on the Chicago Climate Exchange in 2003.[2]

Product Development[edit]

TradeLink has an electronic trading interface in commodity options, financial futures and options, and currency futures and options at all major U.S. exchanges and most international ones. It is also a major participant in securities and over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives markets.[3] Tradelink has significantly reduced its presence on the floor as more and more trade has moved to the screen.
