TraderPlanet is a free, market-focused social networking site. They offer market-data, technical tools, commentary and educational resources to their online community of traders.[1] Founded in 2005 as TraderEducation.com, a free educational site for traders, they officially launched their social networking platform at TraderPlanet.com in 2009.[2]

TraderPlanet announced the acquisition SFO Magazine (and related educational website TraderPress.com) with the goal of incorporating their archive of content into TraderPlanet's educational platform.[3]
Trader Planet launched the Beta version of its social media platform on July 31, 2008, with an official launch on Jan. 5, 2009.[4]
