Ted Naganawa is U.S.-China strategist, and formerly a financial market expert at JP Morgan, visiting scholar at Fudan University and part-time professor of Chinese economy at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. He is also president of Ted Naganawa LLC, a U.S. research consulting firm.

Naganawa is a frequent visitor to China, Hong Kong and other parts of the Greater China area. In the first half of 2008, he spent part of his time in Shanghai, China as a visiting scholar at China Center for Economic Studies, Fudan University and a part-time professor of Chinese economy at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
Naganawa has been an author of essays and analysis on U.S. politics, free market economy, Hong Kong issues and immigration reform, and currently publishes a policy journal, US Policy and Rest of the World, which encompasses all U.S. policy and its impact on the rest of the world, aiming to provide common sense policy analysis and present opinions from around the world to U.S. policymakers.
Until 2005, Naganawa was a vice president at J.P. Morgan Futures Inc. in Chicago, specializing in U.S. Treasury products and Eurodollars from macroeconomic and geopolitical perspectives. Prior to that, he was at Cargill Investor Services, the brokerage division of Cargill.
