The Wholesale Market Brokers Association (WMBA) is based in London and represents the interests of the inter-dealer brokers who operate in the wholesale financial markets in interest rates, credit, foreign exchange and equity derivatives.[1]
In 2009 WMBA supported the move towards a central counterparty (CCP) as an effective step to improve the settlement of credit default swaps and other OTC products generally.[2]
