Zoran Perkov is the head of technology operations at IEX Group. He has held the position since 2012, the year the company was founded.[1]

Background[edit]

Perkov has more than 15 years of experience in technology with a focus on electronic trading systems. He previously served as the global head of technical operations at NASDAQ OMX. Before that, he worked as part of the INET team that led the US NASDAQ operations center through the transaction to the NASDAQ stock market.[2][3]

He was a character in the Michael Lewis book Flash Boys, where he was described as "a Croatian-born exchange operator who excels under pressure but is often a pain in the ass when everything is going fine".[4]
