7RIDGE was founded in 2018 by the former Deutsche Börse chief executive Carsten Kengeter.
7RIDGE acquired Trading Technologies on December 21, 2021.[2]
In April 2023, 7RIDGE acquired 100% of the American Financial Exchange (AFX), an electronic exchange for direct lending and borrowing for American banks and financial institutions.[3]
