Alex Lamb
Alexander Lamb is a veteran futures industry technology executive who serves as head of Americas for Scila AB. Previously, he was head of business development for The Technancial Company Ltd. He was also the CEO of A4, a consulting firm. Earlier, he was senior vice president for business development and marketing with RTS Realtime Systems Group. RTS and Lamb announced his departure on June 21, 2011.[1] He joined RTS in November 2006 and was responsible for global development of the company’s commercial and exchange relationships. He was appointed to RTS's executive board on Sept. 15, 2008. He is a member of the Account Management Working Group of FIX Protocol Limited, a not-for-profit group supporting the FIX global communications standard.[2] Background[edit]Lamb has held several senior positions in the trading software industry in the US, Asia and Europe. He has a background in commodity management, trading and clearing operations, with more than 10 years of experience in trading technology. He has been an independent consultant in the area of front-, middle- and back-office systems for trading and brokerage firms.[3] He previously served as COO of EasyScreen plc[4][5] and head of product management and technical sales.[6][7] He also served as director of software development for Goldenberg, Hehmeyer and Company, Inc. and director of business development at Trading Technologies.[8][9] Published Works[edit]
