Christopher Rodriguez is global head of workflow at Symphony, based in New York.

He was previously head of sales and marketing at Eris Exchange, a futures exchange offering interest-rate swap futures. He joined the exchange in January 2011 after spending several years at CME Group and NYMEX. [1]

Background[edit]

In 2006, Rodriguez joined NYMEX as vice president of corporate development and strategic planning after having been employed by the exchange from 2001 to 2003. After CME Group acquired NYMEX in 2008, Rodriguez became managing director of business development at CME Group, where he oversaw corporate development efforts in energy and metals asset classes.[2] When he left CME Group in 2011, he worked for a short time at Mizuho Securities USA Inc., where he was a managing director of futures and clearing. He left Mizuho in early 2011 to join Eris.

In between his stints at NYMEX, from 2003 to 2006, he served as a vice president in the global energy futures division at ABN AMRO, where worked in marketing and sales of clearing and financial products for the energy futures division of the global futures group. He also worked on profit and loss management, new business development, and banking relationship management.

Rodriguez holds a bachelor of arts degree and a master of arts degree from Rutgers University. He also has a masters of business administration from Columbia University.
