Claude Cyr is the senior vice president of financial markets for the Montreal Exchange. He was appointed in December 2009.

Background[edit]

Cyr was previously the first vice president, and the head of global services and the client relationship group at Newedge Canada. From June 2004 to June 2009, he was the executive director of Canadian futures and options business at JPMorgan. Cyr was the senior vice president of global services for Fimat Canada for 10 years beginning in June 1994.
