Commodity Research Bureau (CRB), established in 1934 and acquired by Barchart.com in 2001, specializes in research, data and analysis for commodities and futures. CRB provides futures market information through a variety of data products, publications, printed charts, newsletters, fundamental data services, historical data and B-to-B products. In addition, CRB established the CRB Index, which has served as a widely recognized measure of global commodity markets for 50+ years. The CRB Index is a product of Reuters and Jefferies Financial Products, LLC, and was renamed in 2005 as the Reuters/Jefferies CRB Index.
