David J. Peniket
David Peniket is the former president of ICE Futures Europe.[1] He has served as president since October 2005 and as chief operating officer since January 2005.[2][3][4] Peniket retired in October 2017 and was replaced by Stuart Williams, formerly chief operating officer at ICE Futures Europe.[5][6] Peniket also serves on the board of trustees of Learning through Landscapes, a U.K. based charity which advises governments, engages the private sector and enables schools and early year settings to make the most of outside spaces for children's education and well being.[7] Background[edit]Peniket was responsible for ICE Futures Europe's financial performance, technology and market operations, human resources, business development and regulation and risk management.[8][9] Before he became president and chief operating officer he served as the company's director of finance, starting in May of 2000. Before joining the company in 1999, Peniket worked for seven years at KPMG LLP, where he trained as an accountant and was a consultant in its financial management practice. He was research assistant to John Cartwright MP from 1988 to 1991.
