Dennis Murray

Dennis M. Murray, among other key positions, is a former vice president of J.P. Morgan Futures.[1]


Dennis Murray, known as a force in the New York clearing and operations area, served as a specialist clerk on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, a senior auditor at Salomon Brothers, Dean Witter Reynolds and CSFB and controller at ACLI International.

For more than 10 years, he was responsible for managing and directing the trading desk, accounting, systems processing and statistical reporting for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and served as U.S. regional operations manager for JP Morgan Futures.

He served on the board of the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation and was a board member of the New York Clearing Corporation. He was a long-standing member of the FIA Futures Services Division and served as its president from 1992 to 1995.

In 2005, Murray was inducted into the Futures Industry Association's Futures Hall of Fame, which was established in 2005 to commemorate outstanding contributions to the global futures and options community. [2]
