Don Byron Occupation Head of Global Industry Operations & Execution Employer Futures Industry Association Location Chicago, IL Don Byron was named head of global industry operations and execution at the Futures Industry Association in 2019. In that role, he will be responsible for development and implementation relating to clearing operations, execution technology, cybersecurity, and market structure. He will be the principal FIA liaison with the divisions and committees representing these areas. He will be based in Chicago with global responsibilities. Background Byron joined FIA from Fidessa/ION Markets in Chicago where he served as product manager for Fidessa’s derivatives global trading platform. Before that, he worked at Barclays Investment Bank in New York as a product manager within the Agency Derivatives Clearing product management group. He earlier spent several years at Northern Trust within the Investment Outsourcing Division. Education References
