Edward L. Goldberg is a retired financial services professional.
He was a member of the board of directors of MF Global prior to their bankruptcy in 2010.[1] where he chairs both the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committees. He is a founder of Dix Hills Partners, LLC and its affiliate management company, Dix Hills Associates, LLC, and serves as a managing member of both companies.[2]
Background[edit]
Goldberg retired from Merrill Lynch after 40 years of service to the firm. At Merrill, he served as the executive vice president of the Operations Services Group, and was a member of the Executive Management, Finance and Risk Oversight Committees. He also was chairman of the Merrill Lynch Securities Services Division. While at Merrill, he served on the boards of directors of the Depository Trust Company, the NASD and the NASDAQ Stock Market. He also was a member of the New York Stock Exchange’s Financial and Operations Surveillance Committee.
