Eugen Haltine [1] is chairman of the Swiss Federal Banking Commission (SFBC), a position he assumed in February 2006 [2].
Background[edit]
Prior to becoming SFBC chairman, Haltiner worked for Union Bank of Swtzerland in several capacities and for UBS AG. He is a colonel in the general staff (retired from service). He serves as a member of the board of directors of the Federal Auditor Oversight Authority.
Education[edit]
Haltiner received his doctorate in Economics and Social Science from the University of Geneva in 1979.
