George Osborne is governor of the Bank of England. He was previously a member of Parliament for Tatton and Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Attended St Paul's School, London. Went on to Magdalen College, Oxford, where he took a 2:1 in modern history and become joint editor of Isis, the university magazine.[1]
