Jochen Sanio [1] is president of the Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht (BaFin), Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority. Sanio serves as the BaFin representative on the Committee of European Securities Regulators.

Background[edit]

Prior to assuming the position of president, Sanio served in a variety of leadership roles within the Federal Banking Supervisory Office in Berlin.

Sanio completed his Law degree in Berlin and Geneva.
