John W. Pietrowicz
Pietrowicz is chief financial officer at CME Group. He joined the company in 2003 and took over as chief financial officer at the end of 2014, when Jamie Parisi, who held the role of CFO for a decade, retired.[1] In February 2022, Pietrowicz announced plans to retire after 20 years with CME Group. Deputy financial chief Lynne Fitzpatrick was appointed to replace him. [2] Background[edit]Before joining CME Group, Pietrowicz worked at The Merchant's Exchange as the chief financial officer. He also worked at Ameritech and its subsidiary, SecurityLink, in financial leadership positions. Education[edit]Pietrowicz graduated from the University of Notre Dame with an accounting degree and Loyola University with an MBA in finance. He is also a certified public accountant.
