The late Kevin Lee Baldwin was a derivatives educator who was director of education for the Institute for Financial Markets from July 2006 to January 2014.[1]
In 2014 he became a principal at Swap Derivatives LLC, where he was a management consultant for global businesses across asset classes.
Background[edit]
Baldwin began his futures career in 1989 with Refco, where he taught a futures and options program for six years. He also provided derivatives seminars for institutions in Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, Tokyo, Seoul, London, Mumbai and Moscow. In 1996, he served as managing director for an introducing broker located in New York City.
Education[edit]
Baldwin earned a bachelor of science degree from San Jose State University in California in 1989 and an MBA from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business in 1994.[2] He holds several securities and futures registrations including Series 3, 4, 7, 24, 30 and 63.
