Lansons Intermarket, formerly Intermarket Communications, provides communications, media relations and event planning services to companies in the international financial community.[1] Its clients include investment marketplaces and exchanges, buy-side and sell-side institutions, banks, alternative investment providers, technology and service providers, and government and industry organizations.

History[edit]

The company was formed in 1986 as Trimedia, Inc. by two marketing executives, Martin Mosbacher and Matt Zachowski. It was created to fill a need for communication and public relations services in the emerging global financial market sector. The background of the firm's founders provided a first-hand perspective and understanding of the needs of international financial companies.

In January of 2003, Trimedia, Inc. changed its name to Intermarket Communications.

The independent reputation management consultancy Lansons announced the acquisition of Intermarket on February 22, 2019.[2] Lansons took a 51 percent stake in the business, with plans to buy out the remaining equity over the next few years.[3]
