Margoth Pilla
Margoth Pilla is executive director in DTCC's Corporate Strategy Office, where she is responsible for driving and developing the company's strategic direction to ensure delivery of innovative post-trade solutions that enhance its capabilities in cash securities and OTC derivatives.[1] Pilla currently serves as treasurer of Women in Financial Markets, formerly Women in Derivatives. [2]. She also is treasurer for Open Door Family Medical Center and Foundation in New York, and is the former treasurer for the Tamarack Tower Foundation, an organization that provides resources, grants, and scholarships to the Port Chester school district, also in New York.[3][4] Background[edit]Before DTCC, from 2000-2013, Pilla was a managing director at Deutsche Bank. She was divisional COO for the Americas, supporting the bank's fixed income, equities, asset- and mortgage-backed securities business, and was global COO for Securitized Products and co-head of the Mortgage Correspondent Lending Group. She also worked in the Corporate Investments Group, supporting the bank's global principal non-core investment activities, and she served on the bank's Women on Wall Street Steering Committee. From 1994-2000, she lead the Asset-Backed Commercial Paper Conduit Management team at Credit Suisse. Pilla began her career in 1982 at Citibank supporting their asset-backed lending business within the Corporate and Investment Banking Division.[5] Education[edit]She earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and economics from Fordham University.[6] References[edit]
