Mark Dowd
Mark Dowd is a New York-based public relations and communications professional who is a co-founder and managing director of Forefront Communications Group, Inc.[1][2][3] He is a board member of the charity Rides FAR, which supports the Autism Science Foundation.[4] Background[edit]Before building the Forefront Communications Group, Inc., Dowd lead the marketing and communications efforts of REDI after it was spun out of Goldman Sachs.[5][6] Dowd also spent nearly a decade as the head of marketing and communications at Nomura's Instinet subsidiary, which he helped reposition from an ECN to a technology-enabled agency broker. He also helped launch Chi-X's exchange business globally. He has found and led the national media practice of Citigate Communications, and was an account executive with Weber Shandwick. Dowd earned the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.
