Mark Mahowald is a consultant focused on startups. He was the founder and president of 29West. 29West was sold to Informatica in 2010 and Mahowald left in 2013. Background[edit]Prior to founding 29West in 2002, Mahowald was the COO of Talarian after the real time infrastructure software providers bought Mahowald's WhiteBarn. Before founding WhiteBarn in 1995, Mahowald was the executive vice president of Lachman Technologies, where he was responsible for the development and sale of its TCP/IP software and integration services.
