Masaaki Shirakawa is an advisory board member at Promontory Financial Group and a special professor of international politics and economics at Aoyama Gakuin University.[1][2]
Background[edit]
Shirakawa served as the governor of the Bank of Japan from 2008 to 2013. He joined the Bank of Japan in 1972.[3]
Education[edit]
He received a B.A. in Economics from The University of Tokyo in 1972 and an M.A. in Economics in 1977 from the University of Chicago.
