Massimo Capuano is President and CEO of Borsa Italiana and Deputy CEO of theLondon Stock Exchange Group, which acquired Borsa Italiana in 2007.[1] He is also a former chairman of the World Federation of Exchanges,[2] chairman of BIT Systems and a member of the Supervisory Board at MTS.

Capuano is a member of the board of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (2007-2008) and was president of this organization for the years 2004-2006. He also has been a member of the International Advisory Committee of Cairo Alessandria Stock Exchange since September 2006.
