Maurice van Tilburg is chief executive officer of Euronext Amsterdam. He was appointed to that position in January 2015. He is also a member of the managing board of Euronext. He reports to Dominique Cerutti, group CEO of Euronext.


Van Tilburg has almost 20 years' experience in the exchange sector. Before being appointed CEO of Euronext Amsterdam, he was the head of business projects and design of the European equity and equity derivatives markets at Euronext, where he was responsible for the process reform of business initiatives and project delivery of new products and services.

Before that he was in charge of issuer support and execution of corporate actions across all Euronext cash markets in Europe. He began his career in 1995 at the EOE Options Exchange in Amsterdam and then moved to Euroclear Netherlands, where he was responsible for the operational delivery of settlement and custody services for the Dutch market.[1]
