Dr. Michael Kuhn is chief information officer, head of the IT unit, managing director, member of the Executive Board and chief information officer of Deutsche Boerse Systems AG. [1]

Kuhn serves as a member of the Administrative Board of Eurex Zürich AG [2] and as a member of the Executive Board of Clearstream Services S.A. He has been a member of the Executive Board at Deutsche Boerse AG since November 6, 2008 and has served as a director of the International Securities Exchange since June 2009. [3]

Background[edit]

Kuhn joined DTB GmbH (the original DTB operating company) in 1989 and, on the Executive Board of Deutsche Boerse Systems, was responsible for Projects and Networks. In this capacity, he was also project manager for the Xetra electronic trading system. [4]

Education[edit]

Kuhn holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Frankfurt and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dortmund.
