Michael Marconi is chief technology officer and co-founder of Duco, a London-based technology company focused on post-trade services for financial market firms.


Marconi co-founded Duco, along with chief executive officer Christian Nentwich, founded Duco as a spin-off from Model Two Zero, a technology firm founded by the pair in 2006. In 2012, investments by fintech venture capital firm Euclid Opportunities and inter-dealer broker ICAP.[1]

Marconi spent 10 years in London's financial services industries, with a particular focus on data and complex, distributed enterprise architecture. His list of former clients includes investment banks, fund managers and commodities traders.[2]


Marconi obtained a Computer Science degree from the University of Cape Town before winning a Chevening Scholarship to study at University College London and the London Business School.
