Michelle Tran
Michelle Tran is a Toronto-based exchange and data executive who is the president of TMX Datalinx.[1][2][3] Background[edit]Tran joined the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) in 2001 as a manager for client and business development. In 2003, she became a senior account manager for TSX Datalinx and then in 2008, she became the director of sales for the company. Tran became vice president, head of sales for Datalinx in 2012 and interim president in May of 2021. She was named permanent president of TMX Datalinx in November of 2021. Before joining TSX and the TMX Group, Tran was with Reuters Canada Limited as an account executive for international equity indexes and fixed income. She has also worked for the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board. Education[edit]Tran holds a bachelor of commerce degree from the University of Toronto. She has also passed several courses from the Canadian Securities Institute, including Trader Training Course, Canadian Securities Course, Derivatives Fundamental Course and the Canadian Options Course.
