Miles Austin is director of the Carbon Markets and Investors Association (CMIA). He started working in the position in February of 2010.[1][2]
Prior to joining CMIA, he served as head of European regulatory affairs at EcoSecurities.

Austin also served as chair of the flex mech working group at the CMIA and is a board member.
He was the second person to chair the carbon trading working group at the Environmental Industries Commission.
He also served as an analyst at Point Carbon.
