Mini-TOPIX is a stock index futures product based on TOPIX, a composite index of all common stocks listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. TOPIX futures were originally listed on Sept. 3, 1988. Mini-TOPIX futures are one-tenth the size of the TSE TOPIX futures, appealing to smaller individual investors.[1][2]
