First published on January 1, 2002, the Moroccan All Shares Index (MASI) is a broad index that tracks all securities listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.[1]

In 2004, the Casablanca Stock Exchange changed the method for calculating their indexes, based on the idea of floating, to better match the stock position of a company and their position in the index. Since then, the index is often referred to as MASI Float or MASI Free Float Index.[2]

The MASI is one of two main indexes at the exchange, the other is the Moroccan Most Active Shares Index (MADEX).
