Private banking covers checking, savings and loans, as well as trust services, investment services, banking services and tax services offered to individuals with at least $750,000 under management, those with a net worth of $1.5 million, or a "qualified purchaser (as defined by section 2(a)(51)(A) of the Investment Company Act of 1940[1].
