Ralph Goldenberg is Chief Executive Office of Goldenberg, Hehmeyer Trading Company, Ltd. (GH Traders). He is also Vice Chairman of Penson GHCO.

Background[edit]

Goldenberg was one of the founding partners of Goldenberg, Hehmeyer & Co. In 1999, Goldenberg moved to the United Kingdom to spearhead GHCO's expansion toward a global presence. He established the firm's London headquarters where he continues to manage GH Traders, the proprietary trading firm that formed as a result of the Penson Worldwide acquisition of GHCO.

Goldenberg has been an active member of the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) since 1961. At the CBOT, he served as Vice Chairman, 2nd Vice Chairman, Director, and as a member of the Executive Committee. He also held the posts of Chairman of the Finance, Education, Membership, Soybean, Special Marketing and Commodity Options, and Regulatory Oversight committees. In addition, Goldenberg served as Vice Chairman of the Business Conduct Committee, Chairman of the Task Force on Member Opportunity in 1992, and Chairman of the Strategy Committee in 1994.

In 1988 and 1989 Goldenberg was chairman at the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation. Prior to that position, he was Vice Chairman in 1987, and a member of the BOTCC Board of Governors from 1985 through 1990.

Goldenberg has been an active member of the Chicago Board of Options Exchange (CBOE) since 1973, and was responsible for the startup of Goldman, Sachs & Co.'s operation there. He is a founding partner of Budget Rent-A-Car of Hawaii.
