Richard A. "Whitey" King

Richard A. "Whitey" King was a longtime member of the Chicago Board of Trade. He died in 2019.[1] King also served as a director of the CBOT. Background[edit]King bought his membership in 1965 and was a corn broker on the CBOT trading floor. In 1988, he brought his daughter Kelly King to the floor to work as a clerk. Later, he would help her buy a membership and they worked as partners in the corn pit at the CBOT filling customer orders King retired in 2008, which was 18 months after side-by-side electronic trading and open outcry trading started at the CBOT in the agricultural markets.[2][3] Education[edit]References[edit]
