Susan Abbott Gidel
Susan Abbott Gidel is a veteran financial services marketing professional. She is the owner of SusanGsays in Chicago. Background[edit]Previously, she was vice president of retail marketing at MF Global in Chicago. Before that, she was marketing director at Lind-Waldock from 2000 to 2011 before MF Global discontinued that brand name in August of 2011.[1] Also, she was president of CGA Communications Group, Inc. from 1989 to 2000, where she was a consultant to financial companies and financial publications. Her clients included Prudential Securities, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Chicago Board of Trade and the Futures Industry Association. Gidel also worked as a marketing writer for the Chicago Board Options Exchange from 1987 to 1989. She also work as a senior editor of Futures Magazine from 1978 to 1987. Gidel authored the book Stock Index Futures & Options: The Ins and Outs of Trading Any Index, Anywhere.[2] Education[edit]She holds a bachelor of science in agricultural communications from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
