Theodor Weimer is the chief executive of Deutsche Boerse. He took over that role on January 1, 2018.[1] He replaced Carsten Kengeter, who resigned effective at the end of 2017. Weimer was previously chairman of the German subsidiary of UniCredit. He joined the company in June 2007 as head of Global Investment Banking in Munich and became a member of the executive committee in the Markets and Investment Banking Division.
