Trabue Bland
Trabue Bland is a lawyer, legislative aide, futures regulator and exchange executive who serves as president of ICE Futures US.[1] He was previously vice president for regulatory affairs at InterContinentalExchange and also serves as assistant general counsel.[2][3][4] Bland was hired by ICE to bolster its over-the-counter compliance operation.[5] Bland also serves as the chairman of a not-for-profit organization, Stop Food Borne Illness, a national nonprofit public health organization dedicated to the prevention of illness and death from food-borne pathogens. Background[edit]Before joining ICE, Trabue served at the CFTC in various positions, including as counsel to then acting chairman Walt Lukken. He also was a trial attorney for the commission and worked in the Division of Enforcement and the Division of Clearing and Intermediary Oversight. Trabue has also worked in private practice as an attorney, specializing in energy and gaming law. Prior to attending law school, Trabue served on the staff of Senator Thad Cochran.
