Also, he served on the board of directors for the Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX).[3] He also served as the chair of the regulatory oversight committee for the MGEX and also on its executive committee.[4][5] Background[edit]Power was born in Atlantic City, NJ and was a graduate of the Brooklyn Academy of the Arts High School and the College of Insurance. He grew up in Far Rockaway, NY. Each July, he would participate in the RAGBRAI ride (Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa) across Iowa, which he completed 23 times. He formerly was the chairman and largest shareholder of Compumat, which marketed microcomputers, software, peripherals and related computer products and services.[6][7]
