Alan Sutherland
Alan Sutherland is a managing director at Jefferies & Company. Previously, he was a senior vice president of Customers at StreamBase.[1][2] Background[edit]Sutherland’s experience includes director of IT at Salomon Brothers, managing director of technology at UBS and JPMorgan, where he supported back office and middle offices for the equity, fixed income and emerging markets businesses across all geographies. Sutherland has twice founded and sold his own firms. In 1996, he founded Sutherland Consulting which he sold in 2001 to the French conglomerate, Altran. In 1999, he co-founded Broker-to-Broker Inc, (“B2B”), a financial technology company that specialized in the electronic processing of cross-border equity transactions across over 80 markets.
