Daniel J. Maguire is group head, Post Trade at the London Stock Exchange Group, a position he assumed in January 2020.[1] He serves as a member of LSEG's executive committee. He also serves as chief executive officer at LCH, a role he was appointed to in October of 2017, after having been group chief operating officer and global head of rates and FX derivatives since April 10, 2017.[2]
As CEO, he is responsible for achieving new business growth, maintaining and building existing customer relationships and driving innovation.
Background[edit]
Maguire was previously global head of SwapClear, LCH’s global interest rate swap clearing business, a position he was appointed to on March 5, 2014, replacing Michael Davie.[3] In this capacity, he spearheaded SwapClear’s development into client clearing. Maguire joined LCH.Clearnet in 1999 and returned to the company in 2008 after having spent three years at JPMorgan Chase working in the global commodity exotics and hybrids business.
Maguire was appointed to the board of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association in 2018.[4]
